The major concerns of Almond Valley's ministry are to bring "life" to people. That is life in all respects as presented in the Scriptures through our Lord Jesus, the Christ: new life, long life, abundant life, eternal life.
Our Mission is to make the life-changing message of Jesus Christ come alive for the people of our fellowship, community and world.
Our Vision is to help people become a part of a living and vital community of Christ's beloved fellowers as we:

Modesto Christian Reformed Church is marking its 75th Anniversary:
We invite friends and former members to celebrate with us. On May 18 we will enjoy a 6pm catered dinner on our front lawn followed by a program of remembrances at 7:30 in the sanctuary. Dinner tickets are available from the church office or in Ripon from Carol Slager at 599-6637. On May 20, our 9:30 morning worship service will be a celebration incorporating our adult choir, children's choir, and handbells as well as brief messages by some of our former pastors.
Armed Forces Day:
Armed Forces Day will be observed on Saturday, May 19, by Voices for the King, with a free concert and tribute, "Let Freedom Ring". This event will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Ripon Christian Performing Arts Center. In addition to the men singing a number of patriotic songs, a Color Guard from Travis Air Force Base will be presenting the Colors, and a flag folding ceremony will be performed and explained. The Concert will be a tribute not only to our military branches, but also to their families and to our veterans. We invite the community to join with us in celebrating and honoring those who fight for our freedoms, and to thank God for our country and the freedoms that we, by His grace, enjoy.
