ASSOCIATIONS OF MINISTRY

Bethany Christian Services:

Bethany Christian Services is the nation’s largest adoption agency. We provide care for orphans and vulnerable children living on five continents. We are called to care for children of all ages and in all stages of life. We serve children at conception by counseling women with unplanned pregnancies and by providing frozen embryos a chance for life through our embryo adoption program. Our commitment extends to children and teens around the world who are living in foster care or in orphanages—children who need a “forever family.”

Our comprehensive services include adoption, maternity housing at Bethany’s House, and pregnancy counseling because we know that children thrive in safe, loving, and strong families. We are committed to finding the best families for children in need around the world. Our mission calls us to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

Bethany Home Society:

Bethany Home is a non-profit Christian agency operated for the benefit of the elderly. Services include a 92 bed-skilled nursing facility at 930 W. Main Street, Ripon, CA 95366, (209) 599-4221, a 43-bed residential care unit called Beth-Haven at 368 Wilma, Ripon, CA 95366, (209) 599-7670, an Adult Day Care Center at 368 Wilma, a rent subsidized Manor Apartment Complete (58 units) at 999 2nd, Ripon, CA 95366, and 39 Garden Apartments located along Vera Street between Main and 2nd Streets, (209) 599-3561. During 2001, two 8-bed Alzheimer units are being occupied at 2nd and Wilma as well as 36 more apartments, known as Bethany Sunset Apartments at 4th and Robert Streets. All these are located in Ripon. A part of the mission statement reads, "Bethany Home is operated under the conviction that seniors are the image bearers of God and the objects of Christ's love and are therefore deserving of security, support and compassionate care in a variety of appropriate settings..."

Ripon Christian Schools:

Ripon Christian Schools is a well established private school for instructing children of Christian parents about God, the world, and themselves from a Biblical perspective. Ripon Christian, located on Maple Avenue, has a large campus with separate facilities for the elementary, Junior High, and High School and has approximately 300 students in the High School, 130 in the Junior High, and 350 in the Elementary. Inter-Faith Ministries:

The churches in Ripon, representing our community, have agreed to bond together so as to more effectively serve those who are in need. It is to the glory of God that we join together as the body of Christ to serve. Services offered are: Distribution of food and clothing to the needy; Emergency aid to distressed families; Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets given out during the holiday seasons.
