DINE WITH NINE

We are ready to start a new season! Different groups enjoyed lots of unique and fun gatherings in the past year. Some of the experiences ranged from breakfast at church, BBQ in a back yard, BBQ on a delta island, putt-putt golf with dessert following, special chef prepared dinner, Christmas turkey dinner, Italian dinner, Portuguese dinner, mystery dinner, dinner at a restaurant with dessert and games at a home afterwards!!

WHO GETS INVOLVED:

Groups of nine get together every other month to socialize and dine. These groups can be as varied as what those who sign may want it to be. The fellowship committee will review the list of those interested and will do it's best to mix and match.

PURPOSE:

To get to know each other better and build our church community.

THEORETICAL RULES OF THE GAME:

-Try to meet every other month.

-One couple or a single is in charge of each activity.

-Generally the host will pay for the food, though the group can share the costs.

-Meet in a new location each time.

-Commitment is for one year.

-These rules can be twisted to fit your group.

IDEAS FOR THE GROUP ACTIVITY:

-Light supper after church

-BBQ at someone's home or a park

-Potluck for breakfast, lunch or dinner

-Dinner at a favorite restaurant

-Soup and pie supper

-Brunch on a Saturday morning

-Attend a play or musical in the area

-Fondue party

-Bowling or miniature golf with dessert afterwards

-Unique theme dinner prepared by your or by an outside chef at your house

-Use your own imagination to be as creative as you can so another group will hear about what an interesting time your group had and may wish to try that thought.
