STEP-FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

With the help of the Lord, we strive to make a positive difference in the quality of life for couples and families that we touch. We share what we have learned in our research and experience and pray that by doing so, we may help others get through the process with less pain and get to a place where they can truly be a family.

During meetings, individuals share experiences with the expectation that we might learn new ways of coping with the problems and in so doing others will learn from us.

As a group, we endeavor to treat each other with compassion and respect and to keep discussions confidential. With the help of God, we as individual members of the group, promise to support our fellow members, respect their privacy, hold each other accountable and to encourage personal growth. We rely on God's grace in forgiving family members, each other and ourselves, then pick ourselves up and try again.

We do the best we can and leave the rest to God.
