GriefShare is a 13-session, Christ-centered grief support group program. Each session consists of a fast-paced video featuring valuable insights from Christian counselors, pastors, and teachers, as well as personal stories of people who have found healing after a loved one’s death. Each video is followed by a small-group discussion of the concepts presented in the video. In addition, there is a workbook that participants can learn from during the following week.

Almond Valley Church’s current program is facilitated by Jerry and Cindy Terpsma who have each experienced the death of their spouses after many years of marriage. Cindy also lost her son to cancer at the age of 41. There is no cost for attending these GriefShare sessions, and the group meets in the church Council’s Room.
