gemsGirls Everywhere Meeting Their Savior

Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did (1 John 2:6)
When we choose to follow Jesus and live deeply aware of His presence, we will change from the inside out. Our words, actions, attitudes, and even where and how we step will be transformed.

Each year, a Scripture passage is selected and a theme is developed around that Scripture to make the passage come alive for the girls. Our 2017-18 theme reminds us that Jesus invites us to follow Him. This is an invitation to receive His love and to live like Him. Our Savior rescues and forgives. Immanuel walks with us and guides us. And our Teacher invites us to learn from Him. He asks us to walk In His Steps.

Our GEMS Club is for all girls ages 3rd – 8th grades and meets every 1st and 3rd Monday each month from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

We invite all girls who want to actively and enthusiastically express their love for God and others - girls equipped, motivated, and passionately engaged in living out their faiths. We look to bring girls from our church and community into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Club offers them the perfect place to learn and grow as they discover who God created them to be.

During our club meetings, we have Bible studies, worship, badge work, service projects, crafts, games, and other fun activities created to teach the truth of God's Word that is found in the theme. Our club girls are welcomed into a vibrant community of mentors and peers who genuinely care about them. Each GEM in our club is invited into a small group of girls their same age with one leader.

To kick off each year, we begin with our Kickoff BBQ party! Girls get together to meet and greet new girls joining GEMS, meet their GEMS leaders for the year, and enjoy food, fellowship, fun, and a splash! Along with our regular meetings, we offer a wide variety of other club activities:
